'Better Business Better Community Fund': THEODORE

As winners of the national Revive and Thrive competition Theodore now has $50,000 to establish the 'Better Business Better Community Fund'. People can apply to this fund under 3 categories:

1. Landlord's fund: for local landlords to 'refresh' their shop fronts and improve the look and feel of our main street.

2. Skilled Workforce fund: Anyone with a skill to contribute to an existing business or in their own business and is looking to locate to Theodore can apply to receive a $100 subsidy for their rent in town for the first 12 months.

3. New to Business fund: To ensure that we fulfill our 'no empty shop front' policy, people can apply under this section to start or purchase an existing business and receive $5k against their first year's lease on commercial property in the main street.
