Angus Australia National Conference

On Tuesday 27th of April, the Angus Australia National Conference was held in Albury, the perfect setting for the best and brightest of Angus breeders to get together to discuss industry issues and hear from a wide array of guest speakers.

The presentations and panel discussions of the day ranged from the expected beef related issues to carbon sequestration, managing depression in rural Australia and planning for financial success. All topics promoted insightful debate from the delegates resulting in an enjoyable day for all. 

Neil Burgess, Senior Commodities Analyst - Agribusiness with Westpac was the Guest Speaker.  Neil spoke about 'Planning for financial success from your beef business' covering basic topics such as identifying what financial success was, business planning, asset utilisation, and managing risk.
