05-Jul-2010The potential for improving winter cropping systems in the Riverine Plains region through zonal management has been highlighted in results from a Riverine Plains precision agriculture (PA) project which has also shed some light on the best mix of tools and strategies to incorporate this system on commercial farms. Results from the Riverine Plains Inc project have been published in a report, Making Money out of Precision Agriculture. The PA study was undertaken as a subset of the Improving Winter Cropping Systems in the Riverine Plains project, and was funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) in collaboration with the Australian Centre for PA at The University of Sydney.
